    UToledo Engineering Summer Camp

    Open to: Students entering grades 9–12

    Explore the World of Engineering

    Join us for a week-long, immersive experience where high school students delve into various engineering disciplines through hands-on activities, guided by UToledo faculty and student mentors. Each day focuses on a different field, offering interactive experiments and real-world challenges.

    Daily Schedule

    • Morning Session: 9 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
    • Lunch Break: 12:15 – 12:45 p.m. (Campers bring their own lunch Monday–Thursday; lunch is provided on Friday)
    • Afternoon Session: 12:45 – 4:00 p.m. (Monday–Thursday), 12:45 – 2:00 p.m. (Friday)

    • Afternoon: Bioengineering  

    Tuesday, July 22:  

    • Morning: Civil & Construction Engineering  
    • Afternoon: Environmental Engineering  

    Wednesday, July 23:  

    • Morning: Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering  
    • Afternoon: Mechatronics  

    Thursday, July 24:  

    • Morning: Electrical Engineering  
    • Afternoon: Computer Engineering 

    Friday, July 25: Special Events

    • Morning Session (9 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.): Computer Science and Cybersecurity
    • Afternoon Event (12:15 p.m. – 2 p.m.): Lunch and Campus Crawl

    After the morning session, campers and their families are invited to participate in the Campus Crawl, a university-wide event offering: 

    • Exploration of key campus facilities and landmarks at your own pace
    • Meetings with admission and academic college representatives
    • Interactions with various campus offices
    • Hands-on activities and opportunities to win free prizes

    A variety of food trucks will provide free lunch to registered attendees, including Tosha's Cake Addiction, Baba's Eats, Susie Lynne's Lemonade, The Saucy Slamwich, Wanna Make ER Loaded, The Squeeze, and Sunny Street Smoothies

    Transportation: To ensure a smooth transition, transportation will be provided from the College of Engineering to the Campus Crawl event. Families wishing to attend should meet at Nitschke Hall by 12 p.m. to ride over with their student.
